My Culture Shock

I think "Culture Shock" doesn't appear to my vocabulary since I arrived to London, I had experienced many great and bad moments and had to adapt myself to a new life style, food and interact with people of different mindset.
Many of my friends felt surprised but happy for me that I resigned my job and come to study and live London. Most chinese might think foreign countries are more attractive than their own country, and they are curious about foreign life.  However, the fact doesn't as prefect as what they think. Everything is different, for instance, not speaking the language, not knowing how to use banking machines, not knowing how to use the telephone, the people works inefficient etc.
Beside of that, in school. One thing I feel that student study mode in the UK are not the same as they were in Macau. In Macau the students hesitate to ask or to answer questions in class because they don't want to lose their face in showing their ignorance in front of the class, and sometimes because their English is not good enough etc. But at here, I can feel the teachers are more encourage students to speak more and ask more. They have patient to listen to student's speaking and respect the student's opinion. Maybe we are international students, they should do that.
Having say that, London is still have many attractive way to let us to explore around. Art gallery, Museum and music festival etc. As mentioned previously,"My culture shock" is an expression that doesn't appear on my vocabulary because I believe that we have to manage ourselves to adapt different environment and to accept it as a fact of life in order to be competitive individuals in this globalize world.
I wish I would be on independence stage in the later and get a well prepare on my main course in the near further. God bless me!
